These Terms of Service govern your use of ktdeli.ca and purchases made from KT Deli and KT Supermarket.
By accessing the website, creating or submitting an order, or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. About Us
KT Deli operates in connection with KT Supermarket and provides prepared foods, deli products, Shabbos foods, baked goods, grocery-related products, catering items, and other products displayed on ktdeli.ca.
In these Terms, “KT Deli,” “KT Supermarket,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the businesses operating the website and fulfilling customer orders.
2. Website Use
You may use this website only for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes.
You agree not to:
Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully
Attempt to interfere with the website’s security or operation
Submit false customer, payment, or order information
Use another person’s payment method without authorization
Copy or commercially exploit website content without permission
Attempt to access areas or information not intended for you
Place orders for resale without our authorization
We may restrict or refuse access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or a violation of these Terms.
3. Product Information
We try to provide accurate product names, descriptions, ingredients, images, availability, sizes, and prices.
However:
Product appearance may vary because many items are prepared fresh
Images may be illustrative
Packaging may change
Portions may vary slightly
Ingredients or suppliers may change
Typographical or pricing errors may occur
Website availability may not reflect real-time inventory
We may correct errors and update information without prior notice.
4. Allergies and Dietary Information
Our kitchen and store handle many ingredients, which may include:
Wheat and gluten

Fish
Sesame

Although we may provide ingredient or dietary information, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens, cross-contact, or traces of an ingredient.

Customers are responsible for deciding whether a product is suitable for their own dietary, medical, religious, or allergy-related needs.

6. Placing an Order
Submitting an order through the website is a request to purchase the selected products. An automatically generated order confirmation only means that we received the request.
An order is accepted when we confirm that it can be prepared or fulfilled.
We may contact you if:
An item is unavailable
A quantity must be adjusted
A substitution is needed
The price or description contains an error
Pickup information is incomplete
Payment authorization is unsuccessful
We cannot reasonably complete the order
We may accept, modify with your approval, or decline an order.
7. Availability and Substitutions
Products are subject to availability.
When an item is unavailable, we may:
Contact you to offer a substitution
Remove the unavailable item
Adjust the order total
Issue an applicable refund
Cancel the affected portion of the order
We will not intentionally charge you for an unavailable item without providing the item, an approved substitute, or an applicable adjustment.
8. Prices and Taxes
Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless the website clearly states otherwise.
Applicable taxes and other charges will be shown during checkout or included where required.
We may change prices at any time. A price change does not normally affect an order already accepted, except where the original price was clearly incorrect or resulted from a technical error.
If a significant pricing error is discovered, we may cancel the affected item or order and refund any amount already charged for it.
9. Payments
Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment provider displayed at checkout.
By submitting payment information, you represent that:
The information is accurate
You are authorized to use the payment method
The payment provider may process the transaction
We may charge the approved order total
A payment authorization does not guarantee that an item is available or that an order has been accepted.
When an order cannot be fulfilled after payment, we will provide an appropriate refund or adjustment.
10. Pickup Orders
Unless otherwise stated, online orders are for customer pickup at the KT Deli or KT Supermarket location and during the pickup period selected or confirmed for the order.
Customers are responsible for:
Selecting the correct pickup date and time
Providing accurate contact information
Arriving during the applicable pickup period
Checking the order promptly after pickup
Transporting and storing food safely after pickup
Pickup dates and hours may vary, especially before Shabbos, holidays, Yom Tov, or store closures.
The current pickup location and available pickup periods will be displayed during checkout or provided in the order confirmation.
11. Late or Missed Pickup
Prepared and perishable foods are made or reserved for a specific customer and pickup period.
We are not responsible for reduced quality, temperature changes, spoilage, or loss caused by a late or missed pickup.
If you cannot collect your order on time, contact us as soon as possible. We may try to hold the order, but we cannot guarantee its quality or availability beyond the scheduled pickup period.
A missed pickup does not automatically qualify for a refund.
12. Order Changes and Cancellations
To request a change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible using the contact information on the website.
A request is not confirmed until we approve it.
Orders may no longer be changed or cancelled once:
Ingredients have been ordered specifically for the order
Preparation has begun
The item has been produced
The order has been packed
The applicable cancellation deadline has passed
Custom, catering, event, holiday, Shabbos, large-quantity, or specially prepared orders may require advance notice and may have separate cancellation terms communicated at the time of ordering.
13. Refunds
Because we sell prepared and perishable food, completed orders are generally final sale unless:
You received the wrong item
An item you paid for was missing
A product was materially defective when provided
We cancelled an item or order after payment
A refund is otherwise required by applicable law
To report an order problem:
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Provide your name and order number.
Describe the problem.
Include a photograph when reasonably requested and relevant.
Refunds, credits, replacements, or other resolutions are determined according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible. Payment providers and financial institutions may require additional processing time before a refund appears.
Disliking a flavour, changing your mind, ordering the wrong item, arriving late, or failing to pick up an order does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Food Handling After Pickup
Customers are responsible for the safe transportation, refrigeration, freezing, reheating, and consumption of food after pickup.
Follow any storage, handling, reheating, expiry, or “best before” instructions supplied with the product.
Perishable food should not be left at an unsafe temperature. We are not responsible for damage, illness, spoilage, or reduced quality caused by improper transportation, storage, handling, reheating, or use after the order leaves our control.
15. Large and Custom Orders
Large, catering, simcha, Shabbos, holiday, Yom Tov, custom, or specially prepared orders may be subject to:
Minimum quantities
Deposits
Earlier order deadlines
Special payment arrangements
Separate cancellation deadlines
Non-refundable preparation or ingredient costs
Specific pickup arrangements
Any special conditions communicated and accepted for an order form part of these Terms.
16. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes:
Have no cash value
Cannot be combined unless stated otherwise
May apply only to eligible products
May have expiry dates or usage limits
May be cancelled or corrected in cases of error, fraud, or misuse
We may establish reasonable conditions for any promotion.
17. Website Availability
We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of:
Maintenance
Technical problems
Internet or hosting interruptions
Payment-provider issues
Security concerns
Events beyond our reasonable control
When the website is unavailable, customers may contact us using the information on the Contact Us page.
18. Intellectual Property

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims resulting from your unlawful use of the website, fraudulent activity, unauthorized use of a payment method, or material violation of these Terms.
